VNIIGIS-ZTK has certificates of conformity for all its activities and a quality Management System certificate in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

NPF VNIIGIS-ZTK LLC was established based on the MWD Department of NPP VNIIGIS OJSC in 2002. The Department employees' vast experience and high scientific and technical potential allowed us to create a knowledge-intensive company with well-developed laboratory, scientific, design, software and methodological bases.

Today, VNIIGIST-ZTK is one of the leading scientific and production companies in Russia, which develops and implements unique technologies – MWD systems with wireless electromagnetic and combined communication links to control directional and horizontal oil and gas wells.

The Company provides the following services:

  • Project well path design
  • Control of the well path parameters while drilling
  • Gamma-ray logging, induction logging, and resistivity logging while drilling
  • Providing real-time geophysical and operational parameters and directional survey data using WITS technology.

The Company also supplies MWD and geosteering systems and offers maintenance, repair, calibration, and personnel training services.

The services are provided by highly-skilled engineering personnel who have vast experience in developing geophysical equipment for well surveying, its practical application in the field of geophysical services for the oil and gas industry, and geological exploration. The Company has its own fleet of vehicles to deliver equipment and maintenance personnel. VNIIGIS-ZTK has supported drilling more than 1,000 wells to project locations in fields with various geological conditions.

VNIIGIS-ZTK has partnered with major Russian contractor companies, such as BK Eurasia LLC, RITEK OJSC, TNG-Group LLC, UK Tatburneft LLC, Bashneft-Burenie LLC, PITTs Geofizika LLC, ARGOS – ChURS LLC, and Petrosakh CJSC, and provides drilling services at oil production facilities of Lukoil OJSC, Tatneft OJSC, and others. The Company's contractual operations cover a geographical range from Western Siberia, the Urals, the Volga Region, Far East, and CIS countries, to China (PRC).
